Since 1866 when Jacob began selling and installing coal and wood-burning stoves, Louisvillians have come to rely on A. N. Roth Company for comfortable homes and businesses. Products have changed dramatically over the years, but our commitment to quality and service has remained constant. Our focus is You!
When Jacob died in 1897, his son Alfred N. took over the business and expanded into hardware. In 1945, Alfred's three sons, Karl P., Sr., Alfred J., and Frederick W. Roth assumed responsibilities. They phased out the hardware business to concentrate on expanding into commercial heating and cooling.
The three brothers operated the business
until 1971 when Karl P. (Phill) Roth, Jr. took over operations.
Phill was joined by his sister Rose Mary in 1978. Today, fifth
generation Roths, including Phillip Roth III and Richard Roth,
are involved in serving customers and helping to shape the future
of
A. N. Roth.
Our goal is for our name to be synonymous with high quality products and service at a reasonable price. Our promise to you is that quality will not be compromised under any circumstance, nor will we seek more than a fair profit. We hope our founding fathers would be proud!
